Association News from Teri Misafiris

Happy Fall!  We are looking forward to the holidays and the decorations that many of you homeowners will be putting on display.

The pool fencing has been done and now that the summer season has subsided, we will commence the completion of the pool house repairs and remodel.

I want to reiterate some of the rules that the board will starting to enforce.

Dogs MUST be on a leash at all times. Pet owners are responsible to pick up after their dogs, it is not Salvadors job!

Parking!!! Per the CCR’s, revised in 2018, parking spots are for the assigned unit only. “Lending” your parking spot is not allowed and will result in code enforcement issuing a citation. The fire department routinely patrols the area and will ticket ANY vehicle parked in a red zone (and this is an expensive ticket). See Rules under the Parking Space section in the Document Folder.  The city has been asked to patrol these areas after 5PM to help in curtailing violators.

Garbage Bins. All garbage must be placed in bin, not NEXT to bin. All boxes must be broken down.

All items stored under decks such as rusty bikes, old patio furniture, barbeques, etcwere to be September 30,2025. As a reminder, Avalon Environmental Services offers two large item pick-ups per address, per year. If you have already used your two large item pick-ups, talk to your neighbors and perhaps consolidate your items. For questions and to schedule a pick-up please call 310-510-0240. Please do your part helping make the property clean and appealing. The association will now clean and charge the homeowner accordingly. Rates will be charged at local retail labor rates charged by the vendor hired to remove these items.

As a reminder, again, large appliances and furniture are not to be dumped at or near the dumpsters. It is not free, nor the responsibility of the HOA to dispose of your items. Be a good neighbor!

Any questions or concerns you may have, I am always available via email.

Thank you for your cooperation,

Sincerely,

Teri Misafiris, Property Manager
